Getting to Whithorn

Whithorn Priory and Museum is located in Dumfries and Galloway, south of Scotland.

There are regular train services to Dumfries from Edinburgh and Glasgow. From outside Dumfries railway station, take Stagecoach Western bus number 500 (Stranraer) to Newton Stewart Victoria Street Cinema (1.5 hrs). Take the King bus number 415 (Isle of Whithorn) to the Grapes Hotel in Whithorn (54 mins). Walk 2 mins to Whithorn Priory.
